Finance Director Singapore Finance

Job Description

This is an exciting and significant role within a fast growing Tech company in the data space and requires an individual with strong financial acumen, excellent commercial awareness and the ability to provide proactive support and communication to the finance team and global management team. 

Responsibilities

As a member of the management team the appointee will play a lead role in developing and executing the growth strategy of the business, provide expert analysis of the performance of the business, both at group level and operating region level, against key business objectives. In addition to providing support to the CEO, COO and Region MDs as required in the running of the business. The core role responsibilities are as follows:

Financial Operations  

  • Ensure that systems and processes are in place to provide comprehensive and accurate financial information and to highlight when actions are required to meet the current and future challenges and growth of the business.
  • Responsible for the financial management & control of the all regions, countries and legal entities of the group in order to satisfy statutory reporting requirements in each geography. This will include providing advice to the business on all regulatory and statutory requirements and ensuring all submissions are made in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Oversight of all financial processing tasks, particularly customer invoicing and Accounts Receivable collection.
  • Develop the new accounting system, FinancialForce, from initial implementation to further enhance and improve efficiency of financial processes and reporting.
  • Responsible for the deliverables, development and motivation of the finance team which runs all aspects of accounting and statutory reporting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury.
  • Oversight of the annual statutory audit process for all legal entities.
  • Maintenance of investor records, such as share and capitalisation details.

Business Support

  • Lead the Finance function to serve the commercial needs of the business.
  • Ongoing monthly P&L reporting to the management team, and board/investors.
  • Responsible for the annual budgeting process plus ongoing business planning and analysis.
  • Responsible for developing a regular forecast process and reporting to identify risks and opportunities in order to aid planning and decision making
  • Working with CEO on financial strategies, scenario building and ad hoc projects for the business as and when required.
  • Oversight of commercial contracts with customers and suppliers, including contract review, standardisation and identification of risks
  • Work with other Operations teams, particularly AIA and Business Operations, to streamline processes and sharing of information.
  • Headcount planning and modelling with team leaders across the business to assess financial impact of proposed changes and providing ideas and options to improve proposals.
  • Commission calculations on a quarterly basis.

Other Ad hoc responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance on contract negotiations.
  • Assist CEO with investor and funding tasks, such as modelling and 3rd party discussion of loan facilities, Accounts Receivables financing, etc.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (or equivalent) who has the experience of operating across multiple markets at Finance Director / equivalent level and is therefore able to deal with multiple reporting environments and business cultures. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have managed and developed a team that is responsible for producing robust and accurate financial and management information whilst also providing strong, decision support to an entrepreneurial management team.

The candidate needs to be a clear communicator and able to demonstrate this at all levels of an organisation. The global nature of the business means a lot of communication is made over the phone and email as well as face to face when possible. In this role you will learn how to clean and organize large quantities of data to produce insights for our global team. You will be responsible for supporting data cleanup and aggregation processes. You will also assist in publishing research reports, case studies and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in preparing and cleaning our monthly and weekly sales data
  • Assist in creating and maintaining the client facing & internal business dashboards
  • Analyse and pull stats for insights collateral published periodically
  • Updating and maintaining the backend data for reporting dashboards for the Executive, Sales and Account Management teams
  • Supporting team requirements in pulling stats for analysis
  • Prepare reports on weekly sales numbers for internal update
  • Crunch numbers for Eyeota’s bi-annual Index Report for distribution to clients and partners
  • Completing special analytical projects as directed by manager

Job description

We are looking for a talented and driven individual to join us as Data Operations Executive / Manager (Technical). The candidate will play an active role in handling the daily operational and technical tasks for Eyeota’s Audience Data Marketplace. 

This position will be located in our headquarters office in Singapore. 

Responsibilities

  • Understand data sources, types, and classification, as well as platform integration types
  • Work closely with the team to on-board new online publishers / offline data providers
  • Map data points for online and offline publishers into the Eyeota taxonomy
  • Create segments within the platform to ensure relevant data collection
  • Curate available segments and ensure inactive segments are removed
  • Manage data collection from multiple sources and upkeep data taxonomy
  • Run reports and monitor to ensure data flows without any issues and operational agility
  • Track data taxonomy updates across Demand Side Platforms (DSPs) and Data Management Platforms (DMPs)
  • Take up ad-hoc projects to facilitate and improve operational flows
  • Troubleshooting of integrations and resolving them with clients
  • Update and build scripts (Javascript, Python and VBA)
  • Work and coordinate with Tech Team on new builds and upgrades
  • Able to translate business needs into technical requirements

Requirements

  • Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field

We are currently looking for an Audience Specialist Intern to support our fast -growing business. The candidates will be accountable for supporting the programmatic demand team, responding to incoming data requests and analysing data usage to ensure efficient use across partners. The role is to be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a programmatic data expert. Understand and be able to discuss intelligently all Eyeota data sets and how they should be best used to maximise campaign efficiency.
  • Respond to incoming data requests from programmatic buyers, providing timely well thought out responses that help drive increased data usage, whilst also providing best in class client service.
  • Analysing usage data and generating ideas, which help increase data adoption.
  • Analysing data usage across strategic accounts and provide the team with actionable insights to take to market.
  • Proactively build audience data proposals for strategic accounts. Working closely with the General Manager for SEA.
